CCAuto Updater on steroids: JeS Updater

Eindelijk is het zo ver! Maandenlang is er hard aan JeS Updater gewerkt. Sindsdien zijn de website en CCAU niet geupdate geweest. Tevens door drukte in het persoonlijke leven en een verkeerd gekozen minor heb ik weinig tijd gehad voor andere dingen. Vandaag introduceer ik JeS Updater Beta 1, een programma dat in staat is om meerdere programma's te updaten. Programma's worden door middel van een achterliggende database ondersteund, op deze manier kan ik met een database update ondersteuning bieden voor steeds meer programma's.

Free vs Pro

Vanaf nu komen er ook twee verschillende versies van JeS Updater uit. Een gratis en een betaalde versie. De gratis versie biedt ondersteuning aan Piriform producten en één ander programma. De betaalde versie heeft op dit gebied geen restricties.

The Update function just produces a "FAIL" message, saying it is unable to connect to jesconsultancy.nl

Hmm.. Probably a firewall or antivirus issue cause there was no downtime that I know of. Could you add jes_updater.exe to the whitelist of your firewall and antivirus. It's located at "C:\Program Files (x86)\JeS Consultancy\JeS Updater". Thanks.

Hi Jelle! First of all many thanx and all our compliments to Your great Program! It first did run very well on all of our 6 PC's, but since the latest Update of "Recuva" the following error permanently appears and prevents us from using Your great engine: "The Version consecutive part is either too short or too long". The Version of Recuva that is installed and shown in the Dialog of Your fine Program is: v1.40.0.525 That should be the latest Any Help would be appreciated - I think many other users have the same problem. Hi, CCAuto Updater has become JeS Updater now. JeS Updater is essentially CCAuto Updater but rewritten and extended. JeS Updater can update Piriform products and a couple others as well and even more in the future. In the next few days there will also be an update of JeS Updater to solve some bugs.

All right - Thank You for Your detailed answer! We have recently downloaded Your new Tool "JeS Updater" and like it very much! We appreciate Your work and are looking forward for Your next Update of this fine Tool. We added all Piriform-Products and some others... works well! There is only a limitation in the number of Tools to add - maybe You can fix this in the next Update. Cheers from Germany!
